Eligibility requirements:

o Age should be under 45 years
o The position should be in regional Australia (outside Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and Melbourne)
o Must have at least 3 years relevant work experience
o Approved by Regional certifying body - RCB
o Skill assessment is mandate
o Meet English language requirement. Some countries exempt from the English requirement like United Kingdom, United States, Canada, New Zealand or the Republic of Ireland, so if you are holder of these countries then this is not applicable for you.
o Business must be actively and lawfully operating in Australia
o Employer’s genuine need to fill a skilled position
o Full-time employment contract for minimum two years
o Salary should be according to pay market rate
o Business has no adverse information
o Should meet health and character requirement o Should meet additional criteria of the stream in which you are applying for Streams under this Visa

1. Direct Entry stream – After obtaining a positive the skill assessment and have three years post-qualification work experience in your nominated occupation, you are eligible for this stream.

2. Transition stream – Applicants who have worked for an employer in regional Australia for at least 3 years full time while holding a subclass 457 or TSS visa.

Visa Processing Time

The processing time for this is somewhere between 3-6 Months.
